Batik. Batik is a traditional fabric from Indonesia(mostly known from Java) for clothing. To make a batik, selected areas of the cloth are blocked out by brushing or drawing hot wax over them, and the cloth is then dyed. The parts covered in wax resist the dye and remain the original colour. That's the traditional ways to make Batik. Batik are decorated with symbols designed to bring the child luck, certain batik designs are reserved for brides and bridegrooms, as well as their families and theres some are reserves only for the royalties. Nowadays, Batik are very commonly known for its trademark from Indonesia and it also became a culture. People wear Batik pretty much anywhere! In Indonesia people tend to wear Batik on special occasions like, weddings, ceremonies, party and also to work. Batik is now known worldwide. INDONESIAN PRIDE.
